- Avoid spicy food, fatty food, sugar, tea coffee and other stimulant like alcohol.

- Limit day’s work to 10hrs, avoid hurried activities, unrealistic targets that involve avoidable over exertion.
- Switch off all electronic gadgets preferably 30/45 minutes before going to bed.
- Adhere to regular sleeping schedule.
- Try to have fixed time for going to bed and rising up. (Early to bed and early to rise is most preferred.)
- Try to develop sleep at least 2hrs before midnight. More sleep after the midnight is not sufficient.

- While going to bed, visualize darkness in entire field of vision.
- Use light and loose clothing while sleeping.
- Lie on your side and not on back.
- One of the knees should be brought well up with shoulders in slightly forwarded position.
- Shift your side during sleep instead of remaining in same position.
- Controlled breathing.
- In day, do regular exercise and remain active.
- Walking, jogging, skipping, swimming are ideal exercises.
- Do not practice vigorous exercise in nights.
- Perform yoga.
